What to do if you lost the admin password or second factor

Use a one-time recovery code, have another admin reset you, or create a new admin on the server.

Steps

Try a recovery code printed at installation. Each works once.
If you have none, ask another admin to reset your password or regenerate your second factor. Each of these requires their own password and closes your sessions.
If you are the only admin, on the server run:
```
panel usuario-crear
```
to create a new admin.
Sign in and store the new recovery codes outside the server.

On a node in a cluster the command-line tool is closed for anything that writes shared data; use the web interface or the API on another node.
