What it is

The panel database is replicated to every node with an embedded Raft store. Sign in to any node and manage all of them; writes go to the leader automatically. Customer data does not move: each account lives on its owner node and is protected by backups.

What it is for

Managing a fleet from one panel and surviving the loss of a node.

Limits

Changing anything needs quorum; a node in a minority keeps serving sites, mail and DNS and shows the panel read-only. Two nodes need a tie-breaker (the license server as witness), which does not work when both share one public IP. Merging two panels that both have accounts is a scan today; the merge itself is not built.
