What it is

A hosting plan is measured against one client's own consumption; a reseller plan is measured against the total of the reseller's whole portfolio. A plan can cap disk, transfer, sites, mailboxes, databases, FTP accounts, zones, containers, cron jobs, emails per hour and CPU, RAM, IO and processes. Zero means unlimited.

What it is for

Selling tiers of hosting and letting resellers sell their own.

Limits

A client's cap is hard: it is checked when the resource is created. A reseller cannot give themselves more. Overselling is per reseller and off by default. Per-account CPU, RAM, IO and process limits need a License. The overage policy (suspend or warn) is chosen per plan; the panel reactivates, at the start of a new month, only the accounts it suspended itself.
